Five on Friday

It's Friiiiiday! Doesn't that just make ya want to do a happy dance? I've always got a little extra pep in my step on Fridays! You know the blog drill, linking up with Darci & the girls for Five on Friday yet again. Join in on the fun if you haven't already!
{one} Two-a-days started this week, and coaches love to get their kids fired up for the season, so what does my hubby do? Well, he gets a mohawk of course. Obviously! He had me do this for him Sunday night, and let me tell you, it's harder than it may seem. It's been REALLY difficult to take him seriously this week, but I'm sure the kids have loved it.
{two} My little pea was SO pitiful at the start of this week. She's been cutting canines for what feels like forever, and she had a little cold or allergy thing going on earlier in the week. Poor baby girl! She seems to be feeling better now, but I loved snuggling on the couch with her.
{three} We had an unexpected "cooler" day yesterday, and it was AMAZING. An 85 (versus 105) degree day in August called for lots of park and outdoor play! Jaqs thought she was big stuff, let me tell you. She was climbing all over and going down all the slides all by herself. Where's my baby?!?
{four} Y'all, my husband is really good, but there's been a steady stream of flowers coming in since about April. Last month, I finally asked what in the world was up with all the flowers lately? He spilled the beans and said he bought a "bouquet of the month" thing from a fundraiser one of his students had going on. Ha! Busted! Major props to him for thinking ahead though ;) He's paid less than $5/bouquet!
{five} You still have a couple days to get in on Kate's 30th birthday giveaway! Hop on over there to enter to win some of my favorite things as well as an array of gift cards and more. Also, I may or may not be having a birthday giveaway of my own next week! Don't miss it!
paper straws, mascara, EOS, notecards & cupcake gum

Have a fun weekend, friends!

Rob's hair is hilarious!! What did Jaqs think when she saw him?!?!

I seriously laughed out loud reading about the flowers! What a sweet hubby though! I'd take fresh flowers each month!!

Hope Jaqs is feeling better and hope you have a great weekend, friend!

I'm dying over the mohawk... I totally would have butchered that and my hubby would have killed me! You've got some skills, little momma!

And so sorry to hear your sweet girl has been feeling bad. Teething is THE WORST {we're finally over it, but I still hate it!}. It seems like a summertime cold is going around like crazy these past few weeks too!

Okay, I have to check out the tassel garland you made!! Going to look around now!! :)

HAPPY FRIDAY!

I can't tell you how obsessed I am with paper straws. Seriously? It's a bit ridiculous. But oh well! It's the little things in life! ;)

oh my gosh, that is TOO funny about the mohawk!

We have had cooler weather here too, like 20-30 degrees cooler than normal, and I am missing the heat, crazy I know!

So sorry your sweet girl isn't feeling good, hope she's better in no time!

Yeah the Mohawk would be hard to take serious haha! Robbie shaved a mustache one time and I seriously couldn't even handle it.

I'm cracking up about the flowers. Smart hubby :)

Hope Jaqs is feeling better!
