I started pinning ideas for Jaqs' 1st birthday before she ever hit her half-birthday, and when I landed on a rainbow themed party, I knew I'd found the right one for my sunshine girl! I know, I know..."she won't remember it!" But I will, and this is important to me for whatever reason, so just let me have this, okay? :)
I can hardly wait to pull all my visions together and celebrate my 1st baby!

I'm loving all the bright, candy colors and festive treats I'm coming across...
Of course, this will be a DIY party, so I got a jump start on things yesterday during nap time, and it just made me THAT much more excited!
I'm totally running with this whole party planning thing while it's allowed. I'm sure my days of "mo-oooommm, that is NOT cool" are closer than I'd like them to be ;)

I've been in denial and just started thinking about H's birthday a couple weeks ago. I agree, it's totally for us moms, but it's so fun to plan! And like you said, we gotta do something we like now because soon enough they'll be asking for Dora or Cars for their birthday theme and we'll have to bite our tongues :)
Sooo cute!!! I was so happy when I saw you had a Jaq's b-day board on Pinterest at 5 months because Ryan thought I was crazy when I started planning then too!! I'm seriously having a hard time believing our girls are almost 1!!! The first year literally went by so fast!
Girlfriend, I've already started planning C's birthday. That's in October. I can't believe Jaqs is almost 1!!

I was told the same thing about him not remembering it. And sadly it turned out NOTHING like I had planned. It bummed me out more than I thought. I am already planning Kaeden's 2nd birthday and he's only 18 months old. But it's going to be WAY better than the first which makes me sad but it's happening! So don't worry you plan away and make it just as you envisioned!
