C-Wives

Coach's Wives definitely share a special bond! It's not always easy to have a husband that is gone for 90+ hours a week during football season, but these ladies make it so much easier! I am so blessed to know each and every one of them. I am extremely thankful that Rob and I were placed on this staff as our first. I didn't know what to really expect when he was first hired on at Cooper, but from the time that I first met with this group of coach's wives, I felt welcomed. We have all been together for about two years now, and I treasure these friendships. Here are some of the fun times we've had together so far....

I think my favorite thing about this group is that we hang out even when it's not football season. We're not friends because we have to be but because we want to be. We share meals, laughs, games, crafts, celebrate birthdays, travel, chit chat over coffee, and cheer on our team together! (Just to name a few!)

How blessed am I?!

Philippians 1:3&4 - "I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy!"

You're soooooo blessed! Our staff at Wichita Falls HS was similar to this, but our staff here is not! It's so hard! It makes me sad! So definitely, count your blessings on having a great group of wives! :)

Hey Katie,
Came across your blog from Whitney's! I am an ACU grad and went to ACU with Jody Kern... not sure what her married name is?!? Any I think her hubby is still a Coog coach and she is expecting baby #3~ We were good friends at ACU and she is a sweetheart! Anyway, you have a cute blog and I would LOVE to know more about what you have learned about gluten-free eating. I am trying to do better about eating gluten free. I think it will make me feel better! Let me know if you have any tips!
