{one} I started a new job of sorts this week! I'll be keeping my friend's baby girl 2-3 days out of the week for the school year. She's 6 weeks old now and is basically a dream baby. I was a little concerned with how Jaqs would be with her around; mostly I was worried she would be jealous that my attention wasn't always on her, but she has done great so far! She is very concerned with Tatum at all times and even looked for her yesterday morning when she woke up. Sweet girl!
{two} Friends, 2-a-days begin on Monday, so we're in full-speed ahead with football season. I saw this shirt on Pinterest recently, but the link was a dead-end. I think I definitely need to make this one though! It's perfect for our big, district rival ;)

{three} If you follow me on Insta, then this is old news to you, but I had to share it here, too. I'm pretty sure anyone that knows anything about Jaqs knows that I've battled her hatred for bows/headbands for a LONG time. She'd pull those suckers out as soon as I'd put them in. Well, I've recently won the bow battle and it appears that I've also now won the headband battle, too! VICTORY! She has been obsessed with wearing them this week! She places them atop her head so perfectly, no? ;)
{four} Jaqs has this little Melissa & Doug puzzle, and she has it mastered as of this week! I may have bought 3 more for her at Target yesterday. Hey, I'm thinking this is totally a learning device, thus, a necessity.
{five} Last but most certainly not least, I'm on my way to my first blog-friend meet-up!!! Mateya was one of my first friends when I started this little blog, and we've been talking/emailing/texting for several years now, so I really feel like I know her. Hopefully she won't think I'm a total nut or anything ;) We only wish Hayden was coming with her to meet his girlfriend, Jaqs!
Hope y'all have a wonderful weekend!!

I'm jealous of your blog meet-up! I want to come! :) You girls have fun...isn't blogging funny? I never would have thought I would actually MEET so many people just from writing on my corner of the internet. I love it!
I started writing for the Fort Worth Moms Blog at the beginning of the summer and met so many bloggers that I followed through it. Blogging is so fun!
Such cute headbands! I have a 5 month old baby girl after first having a boy, so baby girl hair accessories are all new to me. Love!

I cannot handle that photo of sweet Jaqs! She's got it figured out now, mom.... no need to try to help!
And congrats on the new job -- that's great! And like you said, it might be the cure for baby fever for just a little bit. Ha!! Or the opposite - only time will tell! ;)
Hope you girls have had a great morning with your blog friends!!
Love the headband photo of little Miss Jaqs. She's got style!
And I can't believe you get to meet Mateya! Please say hi for me and have a drink on my behalf! What a great blogger meet-up! Wish I could join you ladies! Maybe someday.
Love that headband photo! Too cute!
I need to find some Melissa and Doug puzzles for our little one but they always seem to be out at our Target. Go figure!
Have fun with your bloggie friend!
You have to check out Zulily this week cause they're selling Melissa & Doug stuff right now!
Congrats on winning the bow battle! I fear if I ever have a girl they will hate them just because of how much I love them on little girls! Your little one is adorable!
Oh that headband picture is just too sweet! I think she's mastered the boho chic look! ;)
